ALWAYS BE MY FRIEND was first recorded by Tony Pritchett at Gold Dust Recording Studio on Music Row in Nashvillke, Tenn. It was recorded by numerous male and female artists after the first release. BMI co-writers were Peggy Pritchett (Tony's mom), Laddie Jennings and Harvey Turner.Engineer was Tom Pick. Some of the musicians were Bill Hulet on lead guitar, Jack Solomon on guitar, and Hargus (Pig) Robbins) on keyboards. This cut was also promoted to Europe and appear on an album FLOWERS IN THE FIELD released in Sweden.
